The Ficus, also called weeping fig, is a plant from the mulberry family that occurs naturally in Southeast Asia and Australia. The plant can be found in different variations from overhanging branches to oval leaves.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

What you need to know!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The plant can grow large indoors. The species thrives best in sunny conditions, but can grow in shade and tolerates dry air. The plant needs an average amount of water in the summer and only enough water in the winter to prevent it from drying out. The plant is not resistant to cold and drafts. The cold and warm air currents weaken the young leaves of the benjamina and cause a lot of leaf fall, which quickly makes the plant look bad. The leaves are also sensitive to changes in light incidence, for example after being moved. The leaves fall and are replaced by new leaves that have adapted to the new light intensity. The Binnendijkki is a plant that should not be kept in the dark, it will then lose its leaves and it will be more difficult to produce new leaves. It prefers 4 to 5 hours of sunlight per day. The elastica prefers no direct sunlight and is sensitive to drafts. Don’t move it once you’ve put it down. Spray the ficus with a plant sprayer from time to time, it removes the dust and increases the humidity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
